I still don't think this will happen because innocent people are brought to trial all of the time. They would have to prove malicious intent and that would be a high bar. Rittenhouse did shoot 3 people so I don't think it's unreasonable he is being brought to trial.

It's so dumb as well. As Rekieta Law pointed out he could've said it was pointed to the side as he was going to put the gun away. You can't really tell from that picture that it's actually being pointed at Rittenhouse. It looks that way but it's probably not unreasonable to think it wasn't being pointed at Rittenhouse.

The fact that the prosecution had access to everything we have seen on trial here, up to and including this dickhead’s testimony, makes one wonder why they went to trial.
Pretty much every witness they have had established that corpse 1 and corpse 2 attacked Kyle, that Kyle was retreating, etc.
The prosecution CALLED THESE WITNESSES. And they established that these people threatened and attacked Kyle.
And yet they still brought him to trial.
I know there is a burden of proof with regards to wrongful prosecution but JESUS frickING CHRIST, the DA hasn’t come anywhere close to proving murder as opposed to self defense.

So he can get him to acknowledge that he is in the photo that his friend posted with the quote about wishing he had killed him.... He then calls the friend and the friend admits he posted it and that is what he said.... He then recalls this witness to get him to admit that he said it?
Is that what I'm hearing?

Given the circumstances and given how DAs, both federal and state, have treated other participants of all the BS that went on I think it's pretty fricking unreasonable. There's been unequal treatment under the law for political reasons all over the damned country and it's disgusting.

To be fair…I always run at people laying on the ground holding a rifle with my non legal pistol chambered and point it at them..you know..to help.
I wish he would have asked..if you were sitting on the ground having just been hit in the head with an object after being chased and a guy approaches you with a pistol pointed at you..would you defend yourself?

No reasonable person could look at this shite and convict him.
And part of the judges orders should be to refer these people and this case to the Wisconsin Bar. If the prosecutors office saw fit to charge and try Rittenhouse, knowing this is the best case they could make, they have no business being lawyers, much less prosecutors.

What about the withholding of exculpatory evidence (FBI drone footage)?
Or evidence of selective enforcement (the open and shut case against Lefty for illegal carrying of a firearm - not charged at all)?
Rittenhouse has a strong case when this is done, IMHO.
