It's not the Greek Ambassador part. It's her recent position within the inner circle of Trump Inc. She was probably exiled to Greece to keep her out of close orbit.
She bought and lived in a mansion with her then fiancee, Don, Jr. He didn't buy her out of her portion (for $7.9 million) until last July.
Here's Guilfoyle at Mar-a-Lago for the Trump 2023 Christmas gathering. Not even Melania chose to attend that. IF the Trumps are grifting, Guilfoyle knows many of those details...particularly as to Don, Jr.

I'm not complaining. I am saying that people don't realize what a big deal this is.
The impeachments of President Trump were obvious bullshite to any objective observer. Guilfoyle, however, is a loose cannon who had access to the inner workings of Trump Inc. That's why she was exiled to Greece.
Trump only fired Guilfoyle after the latest media reports. Apparently, there wasn't any investigation by the Trump Administration. The President said she was let go "because we didn't like what we were reading."
It's not the media's job to vet (the $100k shakedown came while she was being considered for Ambassador) and supervise governmental officials. Trump firing her AFTER the fact won't matter.

Ambassador positions are often handed out to big donors and friends. Both parties do it. Guilfoyle was awarded the Ambassador to Greece as a kiss off and thank you for your service after she broke up with Jr.
Like Jr she is a grifter too
