The court with jurisdiction over the matter (BIA) has made its decision.

This judge can frick off.

I'll have to figure out how to find that... but I think a lot was hung on an attorney's statement that was denied by the admin.

The key was the Administration never denied it under oath, IN COURT. That's what the disconnect is between me and most people on this board.

There is the politics of deportation, about which we agree. The Autopen Adimistration tried to ruin our country by letting in MILLIONS of illegal aliens. ALL illegal aliens should be deported. Trump has done a GREAT job with the border, and is trying his best to deport as many illegals as possible.

Then there are the legal questions. Here, there simply isn't even a legal theory as to how Abrego Garcia could have been legally removed to El Salvador (he could have been deported ANYWHERE else) as long as the 2019 Trump Immigration Judge's order remained in effect. The Administration never even tried to make that legal argument IN COURT.

You didn't think this post was crowing? I was happy to hear that Abrego Garcia was getting deported finally. I thought the 2019 Trump Immigration Judge made a mistake in preventing his deportation to El Salvador.

Thanks for correcting me! I was wrong. I always thought that crowing included celebration. In looking it up, I see that it is just "exuding self-importance."

Didn't he already get shipped to Eswatini?

I think he's already gone.

If so, Trump better not bring this criminal back.

Yes and they also conquered the media. The judiciary still has a chance but the education system is lost unless we get masses of conservatives to anger academia which isn’t happening.

Whatever comes of this, maybe the government learns that moving forward, premature celebrations aren't a good strategy.

What I *don't* understand is how ANY of this would preclude Kilmar's expulsion from this country. Facts are facts, no matter which government official says or acts about it. He doesn't belong here, period.

You may be thinking these judges are acting in good faith, and applying the law. They're not. They would find some way to issue an order to not deport him regardless of what the administration said. It might be good not to say anything but the main reason is so they just don't know what is being done.

Also, this is a colossal waste of time and money but it is very important. If he can be deported, that sends an important message. If he gets to stay, regardless of whatever BS they cook up to support it, that conveys that the immigration system is still broken and can be gamed.

I agree with this. I do not think the judges are acting in good faith, not at all.

I don't know. I only follow and read up on this when it's posted on here... and I'm no attorney or agent of the government. All I got is google and an armchair.

How many man hours have we wasted on this a-hole?

The left is hoping that by successfully defending the WORST a-hole, that the government will just give up on deporting the minor assholes.

Understood!

Lol. Our pastor's sermon today was on not trying to always be the wise guy. I was going to set you up to show that the Administration knows it would be a mistake to deport him to El Salvador.

I hereby repent. Cheers

Thanks. I missed that part. The version I saw showed saw the man who was the front seat passenger.

Lol. I think the point from John was that we get OURSELVES in lusting after being right.

This is honestly a big problem for me, personally... as I'm sure many posters have figured out. Gotta draw a good line between being right vs being righteous.
