Killer Called the Broward County Sheriff On Himself

This is incredible. The Killer called the Broward County Sheriff's Department, HIMSELF, after a fight he had in Thanksgiving and told them he was struggling. Yet the same Sheriff's Department and local community that lectures law abiding folks around the country DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help this man...and three months later he exploded.

Who cares? This was obviously the fault of the NRA and responsible gun owners. Not the Broward County Sheriff's office.

The more I read about this kid, it sounds like he fricking knew he was going crazy and for a solid period of time basically lashed out to get people to notice and help.
Not tremendously different than someone who is suicidal and cries for help.
And, every message he got from those around him was basically, "meh, do what ya gotta do".
It's like when the suicidal kid cries for help and eventually, since no one does anything figures, "oh well, guess no one gives a frick".
But that's because most of them aren't really as obvious as they think they are. THIS kid was obvious as frick. It's basically impossible to have cried out more obviously than he did.
And they did nothing.

Not to get all tin foil hat or anything, but it’s almost like the power actors in this thing anticipated what would go down and allowed it to happen anyway.

It really such egregious incompetence that is's almost impossible to believe that many different people could be that incompetent.
That's what they have to have me believe. That several different people in positions of authority.........perhaps dozens of different people...........all got SUPER CRYSTAL CLEAR indications this kid was close.............and NONE of them did a damned thing.
They did so little, that he passed a BG check same as me. He might as well have been Beaver Cleaver.

At this point, Sheriff Israel needs to be fired. Out of a cannon. Into the sun.
When you get a call like this, at the least you can have him held for observation by a mental health professional and possibly push for an involuntary committal.
It may not have stopped the shooting but it sure would have put him under a lot more scrutiny by mental health professionals and law enforcement.
