I was just pointing out that in this climate its a miracle they ran with this ad. Also,how if Chik Fil A ran a similar ad it would be deemed racist and protesters would be at Chik Fil A in major cities,

Chicken and waffles is an American dish combining chicken with waffles. It is part of a variety of culinary traditions, including soul food and Pennsylvania Dutch cuisine, and is served in certain specialty restaurants in the United States.
The earliest American chicken and waffle combination appears in Pennsylvania Dutch country during the 1600’s, when home cooks made waffles and topped them with pulled chicken and gravy.
A different, decidedly soul food-inspired approach to the pairing worked its way into popular culture much later with the opening of Wells Supper Club in Harlem, New York. The restaurant, known simply as “Wells” to regulars, opened in 1938. Wells became a late night hotspot for jazz musicians, who would stop by late at night after their various gigs. The musicians, arriving too late for dinner but too early for breakfast, enjoyed the appetizing compromise of fried chicken and waffles.

There was a Western Sizzlin in Altus, Oklahoma, when I was stationed there 6-7 years ago. I think it's still open.

This is a bit of a stretch to downright fake.
My kids school has chicken and waffles all the time for lunch and is a favorite of theirs. The school is probably 10% black and only 45% white.

It’s like half of the country sees themselves as being members of a Special Council trying to find racism to prosecute. They’re looking at every utterance, tweet, or advertisement.
It’s worse than the Mueller investigation.
It’s already understood that the crime of racism is pervasive and “institutional” (meaning hard to actually see or define), and the investigators are tirelessly looking for the criminals to prosecute. They’ll frequently even fake some racism just to keep everyone on their toes, trying to sleuth out the rassists!
