Fine with this, but it would be interesting to see what would happen in Kentucky if a gay printer refused a job to print some Jesus shirts for a church.

Nothing.

It's sad this even had to go to court.

The gay people should just go elsewhere. That's how a free market is supposed to work.

Refusing to shop somewhere you don't like is one thing. Taking them to court and making them violate their conscience is another.

It isn't limited to that, but nice try.

Boycotts are the typical response to situations where Christians don't like what a business does. An active push for legislation is atypical and litigation is an even further edge case that rarely happens because that's not how churches operate.

You are implying that if the roles were reversed, the same thing (a lawsuit) would happen. While anything is possible, it's highly unlikely. What's more likely is that any perceived or real discrimination against homosexuals will result in a lawsuit. Recent history has shown this to be true.

I don't ever believe that would happen. Normally Christians support Christian owned businesses. I'm not sure why gays don't do the same thing other than just trying to shut somebody down.

Nothing. The church would simply find another printer. Not try to make a statement, garner attention for themselves or force a business to go against it's owners belief systems.

" government cant say "you owe white people service"

You're simply incorrect. The government has said this since at least 1964.

One might venture that most on each side of this issue tend to support those that support them.

And then when an outlier presses the issue you see a variety of reactions.

How is this still news? I don't the laws in Kentucky but I'm sure they are more conservative than the laws in blue states.

If it goes to SC it may be overturned. That is when it will be news, because people will want to know how Gorsuch votes.

Please educate me how churches are commonly or typically pushing for legislation.

Not churches. Christians.
