Look I'm not an expert on the Kennedy board makeup and history. But I suspect the traditionally bipartisan Kennedy board already had some Rs on it, and that most (all) of the 14 he replaced were libs, making the possible and likely the reason for it being "overwhelming"
Nothing is getting renamed to honor Trump in this country that isn't overly partisan towards Trump. At this point, the same is probably true for naming things in honor of even slightly controversial Ds too. It's just how it is. Although it's definitely more likely that some GOPers will cross the aisle to honor a lib than vice versa, which is why the whole "it's a board decision not a Trump one!" is a pretty silly distinction.

The Kennedy Centre board mostly resigned en masse due to Trump deciding to take over its programming. Their replacements were (obviously) Trump loyalists who were rewarded for their support of him.
I'm not necessarily AGAINST this, and I chuckled a bit at the news, but its ultimately a meaningless troll that will almost certainly be reversed as soon as Trump or Vance doesn't occupy the WH.
I want to hear about meaningful wins for Trump's supporters at this point. I have had my fill of these snarky troll jobs (that may backfire and hurt us) that are ultimately meaningless to folks in Pennsylvania or Iowa who are struggling to have the life their parents and grandparents had.
