So the Dems win again in Georgia. He is nothing if not consistent.
Redistricting has nothing to do with the Senate races, those are statewide totals and have nothing to do with precincts and districts.
Georgia districts are already stacked in favor of Republicans for the house. They just recently redistricted already, and carved out some Dems in South Cobb into MTG's former district, ensuring those Dem votes are now null and void.
Y'all know absolutely nothing of what you speak.

Of course they do. And this is what most people fail to recognize. Republicans do NOT want to win. Why? Because when they get in power, they will be exposed.
As long as they are in the minority they can vote conservative all day long and you will not know they are a snake. But when they get in power, have the ability to right the ship but don't, people scratch their heads, wonder why and call them a traitors.

My above post stand.... regardless of this one issue. Was responding to a comment on republicans in general.

My question is do you then have special elections for new districts ? Georgia in not doing the redistricting before election is opening its to all kind of litigation.
We're going to have to see. I'd love to see the US Attorneys for the area file suit against the state for continuing to hold elections using districts that are established to have been drawn under unconstitutional racial bases.

Translation:
Perfectly fine have the 2026 vote with unconstitutional racially drawn districts.

As dumb as thinking Kemp somehow screwed Trump out of the 2020 election?

A handful of seats in the South is NOT going to determine the House. If there’s a Democratically surge it’s going to come from purple seats north of the Mason-Dixon and west of the Mississippi.

And if it comes down to one or two seats?
Every seat we can gain matters.

If you want to blame someone then blame the wise latina for slow rolling her dissent in Callais. The GA primary is in 6 days, there is no way for new districts to be made and a primary done in that short amount of time. It's just not feasible.

Kemp must be above the law then. SC should whip his arse into shape.

Then it really doesn’t matter. 1 or 2 seat majority won’t get anything meaningful done.

Inconvenience to the state is not sufficient justification for persisting with unconstitutional districts for 2 more years

The mental gymnastics on here is going to be a sight to behold when MAGA is forced to vote for Kemp for President one day. You will be falling over yourselves to tell us how great he is. I used to think Kemp was a dumb hick until a prominent Atlanta attorney told me its just an act that Kemp is sharp as a tack and ruthless as frick when not in public.
Kemp will never be president. Like you said everyone knows now that he is not what he portrayed his self to be during his first run for governor. You may support him because it’s known he is a fake conservative but most republicans will not support him for president . His political carry will be over soon .

DOJ will enforce the USSC ruling if Kemp will not.
Maybe not accept the GA election results for starters if they use a gerrymandered map

You suck Georgia!!
The blame in this instance is ENTIRELY ON ROBERTS and his SCOTUS delays.
First, the case was heard on March 24, 2025. Meaning a ruling should have come around the end of last summer.
But that did not happen.
Instead, "someone" on the Court was granted a request for re-arguments. So a second set of arguments was heard in October, basically restarting the clock.
Still a ruling could have (should have) been expected before the new year. No dice. Roberts permitted SCOTUS libs to procrastinate 6 more months, variably extending the finding (which was inevitable) well into early voting.
The attempt was obviously to preserve as many Liberal US House seats as possible ... Constitution be damned.
Roberts could have easily granted re-arguing the case, with the guarantee of a published result by year's end. He could have done that. He should have done that. But he did not do that.

He’s been a good governor along the lines of Sonny Perdue and Nathan Deal. MAGA hates him because in their warped minds he somehow screwed Trump out of the 2020 election when Georgia wasn’t the deciding factor to begin with. He’s also the one guy who would beat either Ossoff or Warnock for a Senate seat. Kemp had zilch to do with Trumps many failures in Georgia since 2020.

Call your reps. He calls the session he can't control the bill. Revote the primaries.
