The British press deserves a slow clap for its Starmer autopsy.

Truly magnificent work.

They managed to explain his collapse with timelines, staff drama, cabinet gossip, leadership “missteps,” bad polling, Westminster mood swings, and enough procedural fog to shut down Heathrow for a week.

And yet somehow ... somehow ... they tiptoed around the part where Starmer’s handpicked ambassador to the United States, Peter Mandelson, had that pesky little Jeffrey Epstein problem.

Minor detail, apparently.

Just a tiny footnote.

Barely worth mentioning.

You know, the kind of thing that only destroys a prime minister if ordinary people notice it before the media finishes burying it under 4,000 words of polite institutional compost.

Then there’s Ukraine.

Starmer was not just some gloomy bureaucrat with a bad haircut and the charisma of wet cardboard. He was one of Europe’s loudest cheerleaders for keeping the Ukraine proxy-war machine running. Then Trump comes back, starts talking peace, a June deadline appears, Epstein files start making noise, Mandelson becomes radioactive, and suddenly Starmer is off the board.

But don’t worry.

The media says it was probably “leadership fatigue.”

Of course it was.

Nothing to see here, peasants.

Just another elite scandal magically dissolving into staff reshuffles, anonymous briefings, and “questions about communication strategy.”

This is how corporate media lies now.

Not by ignoring the corpse.

By surrounding it with paperwork until you forget there was a murder weapon.

Starmer didn’t fall into mystery.

He fell into the story they were desperate not to tell.
