Great clip on a survivors experience and how Hitler came off as your run of the mill politician and then gradually took away guns starting with a registration.

German is not an ethnicity. It’s a nationality. He disarmed the Jews and other minorities who would have otherwise been lawful owners of firearms. Went swell for them.

He restricted and then banned Jews from having guns, followed by loosening of restrictions for ethnic Germans. The amount of loosening was very low.

The Jews were doomed in Germany beyond Hitler's actions on firearms. Hitler stripped the Jews of all sorts of liberties under the pretense that non-ethnic Germans were not assured citizenship in Germany and the Jews were the biggest target. Again, back to that first part about understanding that Germans are an ethnic group and the Nazis viewed that as the fundamental basis of state/citizen relations.

There are far better, more applicable ways to make that point. The Jews in Germany were not in any position to effectively resist their oppression at the hands of the German state, even had Hitler not restricted their firearms liberties.

Let us not forget the the Jews sabotaged the German war effort of WWI and then led a full scale civil war with millions of Germans dying, not taking into account what the ramifications of the sabatoging led to for the Germans at the treaty of Versailles...
