What's really ridiculous is that they booked her in the first place. Before I would book Kathy Griffin for entertainment, I'd just hand out slinky's, hula hoops, Rubik's Cubes & coloring books & tell folks to knock themselves out.

If the 'tour' was going well with sold out shows, they wouldn't be canceled. This is probably just a good excuse for promoters.

Surprised her California shows would get cancelled. I would think she would have no problem booking shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

She can make all the statements she wants. I don't think there's anything she can say which will undo the damage.
I do not believe for a second that she is sorry for the photo. She is sorry for the reactions to the photo. If you read her apology, she's pretty clear about seeing the responses. Saying "I get it" is pretty lame, too.
