Karmelo Anthony’s family is seeking another $250,000 to fund his appeal after an earlier campaign raised nearly $634,000 and faced questions over how the money was spent, the family announced at a news conference in Dallas, Texas.
Guess they must be broke. $634,000 and not a dime left to spend on his appeal.

This is best possible case financial responsibility of reparations if they were to be given out.

I donated mine to an animal shelter that rescues abused/abandoned dogs. I feel better about that than paying legal fees for a murderer.

80% of the monies would be in the hands of others within 6 months
Pay the reparations - mean test as with current practice for eligibility - and monies saved redirected to pay down cost of reparations

They rented a home that had a $8,900.00 monthly lease and bought two Range Rovers.
Nobody's going to give them more money.
Also, his appeal has been shot down.
They should screw right the fu$# off.

No. The appeals process is just starting and nothing significant has occurred.

New defense strategy will be that Anthony had PPD and wasn't in control of his actions and shouldn't be blamed.

lol so true.
Anyone can go look at all the athletes that made 100s of millions just to go broke.
Floyd Mayweather made $500mm and is broke.

$250k for a criminal appeal in Texas is retarded
Posted on 9/6/26 at 10:01 am to America250
I see this as a strategy to be used over and over by people who see it as a strategy.

Yeah that seems high, especially in the age of AI. The trial wasn't that long, especially the testimony portion.

These days you can just go to AI and get all the info and documents so you need and you can file your own appeal for a few hundred bucks or less.
