Ok, this is fricking weird in my opinion. Maybe I don't follow things too closely, but it is usually not the VP that meets with the actual Heads of State of Allied Countries. That is what the President does.
Generally they meet with their counterpart, right?
And the media asks no questions about this whatsoever. Totally normal.

It’s not only weird but inappropriate. Really the VP has two jobs:
1) Step in as President should the President die.
2) Break tied votes in the Senate.
That’s it, and I know that were the extent of Biden’s duty when he was in that office.
