"Donald Trump’s campaign accused Joe Biden’s team of backing away from an agreement that the two candidates should be inspected for earpieces as both sides engaged in gamesmanship ahead of the first presidential debate on Tuesday.
The assertion by the president’s team that a third-party inspection of the candidates’ ears is necessary is part of the Trump campaign’s contention that Biden is not mentally fit for the debate.
“Joe Biden’s handlers several days ago agreed to a pre-debate inspection for electronic earpieces but today abruptly reversed themselves and declined,” Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh said in a statement Tuesday."

I'd support that but I don't think either campaign would. Both sides would hate the potential optics of it.
They did quite a bit in the Biden debate though. It wasn't the entire time but when the camera was on him Trump seemed to be remarkably well behaved

There was a countrywide campaign 12 fourteen years ago in which a forum at a nicer Hotel conference room for all four candidates vying for the nomination were going to be present
One of the candidates had an affinity for alcohol and he had a very inexperienced campaign staff they were under the impression that the debate started an hour before it actually did
I did not give them this impression but I was aware of the fact that they did not know the proper start time and because staff wants to make sure they have their candidate their own time they were significantly early
We met this person who showed up early and invited them to join us in the bar while we waited
it went as you might expect

And Trump needs to call her out for it like he did Biden for the to at the end.
He also needs to make sure all are reminded early and often he was Pres so he knows the job better than she does, and also knows her job. That she's doing a poor job of it. She'd be "fired" if she worked for him as VP.
He needs to not be afraid to treat her like he would any man.
