Sounds tired, and he just explained that the "3rd Wave" of treatment he receiving is kicking his butt. Everybody who loves Rush needs to keep praying for him.
He's truly an American icon. Praying for a miracle, but it will be a terrible day if/when we lose this Patriot.

I’m so glad my dad forced me to listen to him when I was a kid. Guy is an American gem, and I loved every second of his being awarded the Medal of Freedom at the State of the Union. Equally saddened by his announcement of his cancer. Rush: the only guy in politics I trust.

His voice is weak but his speech pattern is good. He's firing off from the brain at a normal rate.

He's talking about it a little more now and it does not sound good at all. He won't divulge what he actually has but it sounds like its one of the ones that is not good at all.
This round of treatment and next will be bad for him basically. The purpose of his treatment is to make the patient feel as good as possible for as long as possible.

I think he got a gut punch from his doctors. He's talking in terms of how much time was bought with the first round of experimental treatment. And these other rounds aren't looking promising. It is what it is . . . what it always was . . . a long shot. God Bless you, Rush. Your bravery is inspiring.

I heard him last week and you could tell he is going through some tuff stuff now. Its catching up to him.
