Ask Alberta how they feel about it.

Is anything worse than treason and betrayal AND ostensibly an un-declared an act of war upon its people by its so-called (un-elected) "leaders"?

It's long past torches & pitchforks-time for our cousins in the Great White North.

Numbskulls keep voting and electing Liberals. Trudeau put the country in a global rejection and economic hole, then they elect Trudeau II. The citizens offed themselves. The Liberals parallel our dems, so be careful who you vote for.

saw a clip where Las Vegas is promoting Canadian visitation by offering to convert Loonies to dollars at parity. Thats a 30% discount in Canadian favor. I seem to remember it was only a 10 % official parity difference 10 years ago.

Means the loony has lost 20 per cent of its value in addition to inflation.

You are correct. I travel to LA a few times a year to see customers in the space corridor, micronuclear and emissions control spaces. All of them are doing well; and, 90% are looking to leave the state. It is crazy and unsustainable.

The figs in Ontario and Quebec don't care about results. They voted for somebody who would sass Trump regardless of the cost. That's what they got. The sane provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan are welcome to come party with us.

This. They voted based on rage and not practicality.

Wow, an unsourced post from a source with an agenda!

Canadian economic growth basically tracks the US.

Haven't failed them. This is what they wanted. This is what they voted for.

Per ChatGPT:
quote:

Here’s the **best available estimate of Canada’s cumulative real (inflation-adjusted) per capita GDP growth over the last ~10 years (2014 to 2024):

?? Real GDP per Capita Growth (2014–2024)

Canada’s real GDP per capita increased by about ~1.1 % in total over the decade from 2014 to 2024—meaning real (inflation-adjusted) GDP per person is only ~1.1 % higher now than it was ten years ago. ?

?? This measure takes out the effects of inflation and population growth, so it reflects true average output per person in constant prices.

?? Context & Interpretation
• A cumulative rise of ~1.1 % over ten years implies a very low annualized real per capita growth rate (close to ~0.1% per year on average). ?
• Different analyses may produce slightly different numbers depending on the exact start/end years and data source (e.g., IMF estimates sometimes show even lower cumulative growth around ~0.5–0.2 %), but the consensus is that real per capita GDP growth in Canada over the past decade has been minimal. ?

Yes, it’s more than 0.5%.

It’s still pathetically lower than any other country listed.

You have got to be either lying or comically stupid. Take your pick.
