If a teacher in that situation made as big of a deal about the threats from her students as juicy and his family are, they would all label the teacher a white supremacist and bombard the school with hate until the teacher is fired.

This was my first thought. If he'd fake a hate crime for attention, it's not a stretch to think they'd fake a threatening call to get him out of jail. shite, I'd think it's actually more likely to be staged than genuine at this point.

Now would be a good time to reflect on the fact that our culture has unraveled just ties back to the the simple fact that we are living in the most narcissistic age in human history.
