It's reasonable to believe a parking lot full of "day" laborers are illegal.

I guarantee you that if, under Biden, they'd decided that because conservatives were supposedly this huge threat, that they would authorize all law enforcement to stop any car displaying religious or conservative political icons and demand hold you until they figure out you aren't a terrorist, you'd be like, "wait a fricking second here!!!".

shite. Were people like you even paying attention during covid? Those frickers were only too happy to abandon the 4th with a quickness.

I tend to agree that upon some observation, you're likely to note enough to justify checking them.

Aren’t they defying Supreme Court ruling by still doing this? At least with regard to immigration?

Run them off

We love violating people's rights as long as we think ours won't be violated.

Leaving the racial piece out of this I don't think any police enforcement arm should be indiscriminately pulling people over for paper checks. That shouldn't be constitutional. I'm also against road blocks for registration/DUI checks here.

Yes, they thought they could get away with it due to the SC being away. It won't matter. It will all be ignored.

Something tells me you and I agree on very little but, we agree here.

My conservative friends sometimes don't sound very conservative to me.

I'm conservative because, like the founders, I am HIGHLY frickING SUSPCIOUS OF MY and ANY GOVERNMENT and do NOT frickING TRUST IT!

K. We trust Trump. If that upsets you, I’m sure there is a safe place for you on Reddit you can find.

This is EXACTLY what a DUI checkpoint does

Which is also a clear violation of our fourth amendment rights

The USSC (Rehnquist) basically said “frick your rights. This will help keep people safe.”

I’ll assume that y’all are okay with these rights being violated for the same reason.

Is Trump going to live forever?

Also, that's retarded. Do you think that if you let government abuse power because the guy we like is in charge that the power will magically go away if the guy we don't like gets in charge?

Do you people not understand the fricking point of HAVING A CONSTITUTION?

It’s a free country for its fricking citizens it’s not a free country for illegal freeloading fricks.

You like conflating comparisons. Deporting illegals not the same as determining who is a political threat.

I guess if I'm hanging out with known felons after a bank robbery, police have no right to detain me, verify my identity, and clear me or not if my involvement. The process of how it's done can be discussed, but that process will still include proper identifications nonetheless.

Again...as it states in the constitution and as the supreme court and almost every other court has decided, it is an unreasonable search...not a stop.

authorities have the right to stop anyone. However, they need a reasonable basis to search or seize....

not really that hard to comprehend.

The courts have NEVER ruled that cops can pull you over for no reason. NEVER.

but it really isn't very leftist to say that the police have to have a specific reason to pull you over before they do

Which specific cases are you referring to where this didn’t happen?

What if you're a Hispanic dude who is in the trades and owns a box truck to carry your equipment as you do your job every day? And, you happen to live within 100 miles of the border.

Should you expect to be pulled over routinely?
