I've seen it reported that Trump's legal team has a copy of the warrant and could release it if they wanted to.

Link? And also, if the affidavit was sealed, the actual order wont provide much detail.

I read something claiming that Trump said (a) he has a copy and (b) he has no plans to release it.

I did not keep a link.

Here’s an idea, DeSantis runs for President and wins.

He nominates Trump for Attorney General and allows him to completely dismantle the DOJ.

Then he moves him to head of the FBI and he dismantles that shithole...

Then DOE, HUD, etc etc etc.

Let Donald do the firing!

FBI on location told the lawyer the supporting evidence or documents were sealed. That was an immediate decision by the Judge.

True. It took a long time to release any info the last time they executed a search warrant on a former president and active political opponent. I can't remember exactly how long, though. Do you recall?

No, we’re not releasing a copy of the warrant,” NBC News quoted a source close to Trump

C’mon Mickey and Hank, y’all are better than this. “A source close to Trump”. C’mon.

That article is all over the map. Trump has it, at least a source says. It’s sealed and needs the DOJ to unseal it.

Why does it need to be unsealed if Trump has it?

Nothing concrete in that reporting.

The attorney present said they were not given a copy or able to read it in full. Has that changed?

Unsealed by the court thus making it available to a public records request. Trump can release his own copy if he chooses.

I'd be shocked if the DOJ releases anything. There are literally no consequences for them.

FBI agents seized about a dozen boxes during a raid of the Florida home of former President Donald Trump on Monday, his lawyer told NBC News.

The attorney, Christina Bobb, also told NBC on Tuesday that a copy of the search warrant that FBI agents left at the Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach indicated agents are investigating possible violations of laws related to the Presidential Records Act and the handling of classified material.

Good point. Easily verifiable, though. How many clients do you have that haven’t signed an engagement letter?

As bad as the FBI and DOJ have looked in recent history it’s obvious to anyone who believes in our Constitution that this neddd to be transparent.

Being that there was a conspiracy that the FBI played a large role in to frame a United States President for impeachment, they should have turned away from anything with Trumps name on it.

Yikes. In light of the history and past communications regarding these docs, this is a very very thin warrant. If this is the actual reason, it will even more point to a politicization of the DOJ.
