Jordan Peterson is brilliant. But he's not an expert on political dynamics.
David Brooks was great when he stuck to writing about society and human nature. He stinks writing about politics for the NYT.
There are tons of smart people who say and write stupid stuff when the get out of their field of expertise.

The problem with his premise is simple:
If the GOP concedes a,b,c. and the Dems concede d,e,f. then after the legislation is enacted we find that abc are gone and def are still there.

The idea of giving up Trump is a bad one in theory as well because he would just be replaced with a guy like DeSantis who would continue what Trump started. (I would actually prefer that.) We have to get our election system fixed, and we can never submit to DIE and CRT. Its time to boogaloo.

Jordan Peterson sounds like a MK-Ultra abuse victim whose entire life has been a protracted grooming exercise to play this role of pied piper for young men. His media and academic connections prior to fame speaks to that too. Demon possession is entirely likely. When a mind is cracked open that much, something is going to fill it.

Jordan can wax philosophical to his heart’s desire but in the meantime reality has been going on the past couple of decades.
The socialist Left plays by no rules nor has it shown any inclination or desire for compromise in recent memory. They are playing for all the marbles.
They have been complimented by a largely weak-kneed Republican Party who mainly wants to speak in platitudes, be liked by the establishment corporate media and more than content to continually cede ground in the critical culture war front so long as they could focus on the money making war machine, business and cheap labor.
Trump shone a light on DC and exposed the game. They didn’t like it a bit and they made sure they were going to take care of it one way or another, which they finally did.
By this point in time, we Deplorables are no more interested in compromising with the Socialists or their RINO enablers than they are us.

And we should take them seriously.
When someone prattles on about killing Christians before “we kill them” ... we shouldn’t laugh. However they dress it up, they’re thinking these thoughts.
They’re thinking about killing Christians.
There’s no reason to believe that a Marxist revolution, even one conducted quietly, over the course of generations, will produce anything but bloodshed and tyranny.
