Sad that this same attention and deference to the intentions of the drifters (and ratifiers) of the 14th Amendment won't be applied to birthright citizenship.

NPR has always been so fake, radical, and tainted that it took me almost no time to figure them out. Hence, I haven't paid any attention to NPR in a long time. They're at least the radio equivalent of MSNOW if not somehow even worse.
It's not even close to being professional journalism, and they should've never been receiving taxpayer money.

One of my favorite plays ever was when this dude ripped off the defensive guys helmet and tossed it like javelin.

The good thing is now these AssClowns are called out on it now. Where as 5 years ago they were not.

I used to enjoy NPR but they got a rampant infection of TDS and it’s permanently warped their entire programming lineup.

They love to present themselves as smug high intellectuals to do everything they can to present progressive ideas as the end all. "Fresh Air"? No, more like "Stale Comment".

No worries guys, full taxpayer funding (plus more, probably) will be restored once Democrats take over after November.

Already did.

Throughout that period, however, certain justices held firm that there is a bright-line rule against such racial criteria. That includes the author of the court’s Callais decision, Justice Samuel Alito, but also Roberts, who in 2007, put it succinctly: “The way to stop discriminating on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race.”
"In doing so, they have moved this country closer to a colorblind jurisprudence than at any time in our history" -- Jonathan Turley
> Turley's brilliance certainly doesn't need me or anyone else here to back him up, but this is the way most of us see this. Remove ANY racial component and race becomes less of a problem.
PS - Overall, this Court had been nothing short of amazing; even w/ times when they haven't been. This includes CJ Roberts and Justice Barrett.

Several years ago I was in a position with work where my commute was a longer distance for a while. Decided to check out NPR on a couple of my drives. It was pathetic. I started telling people it was “race, gender, and Trump (is bad) radio. Those were the only topics they seemed to focus on. Pathetic.

Car Talk was great. I liked A Prairie Home Companion for a while too.
