From what I’ve heard, it’s not about blocking the release but more about blocking the dems from controlling the committees that would be formed in the wake of the release. It’s a way for the democrats to gain control and no one wants that.

Any spots still in play for recess appointments? Does Bondi get replaced with Gaetz? That got a lot of talk back when she was appointed but it wasn't an option until they recessed.

More accurately, it's not letting democrats sabotage the President’s agenda.
The Epstein bros have become single-minded. They are willing to stop everything else and give Democrats more power just for a release of the files that will be disappointing.
No matter what info is released about which corrupt politician, it is always, "Nothing will happen." Obama? Nothing will happen. Biden? Nothing will happen. Schiff? Nothing will happen. Epstein? OMG!! We have to stop the entire world until the files are released!! Everything from here on out is just a distraction from Epstein!!
Here's a simple question that none of the Epstein bros can answer. Why didn't the democrats demand the release of these files when Biden was in office?
If you don't have a legitimate answer to that question, then you should next ask yourself, "Why am I trusting the democrats to do the right thing after all these years without an ulterior motive?" Epstein bros are surrendering all common sense. They really are willing to throw everything away over something that will never meet their expectations.
