What do we know about them? They were warring with each other? They killed and took hostages? What of significance did they do? Tribes over running other tribes?

The Comanches in Texas were pretty badarse, but yeah, they did a lot of that genocide stuff too...They kept settlers from expanding west for many years though, and scared the Mexicans so bad that they allowed white settlers into Mexico as a buffer between them and the Comanches..

The Comanches, Cheyenne Dog Soldiers, and Sioux Indians would all be interesting to study. Even some of the Indian tribes that fought with the English and French like the Hurons during the Revolutionary war would be interesting ..

Our schools don't teach near enough history though about any races of people, including, whites. I had no ideal that the "Barbarians" you hear about taking down Rome were actually Germanic white people from German tribes before I went to College...

Why don't they teach about the Constitution and that Communism has killed millions and millions of people everywhere instituted?

Academia is one of the most dangerous, brain washing, leftist, communist, anti-American platforms in our country.

On a recent podcast, he was talking about how America doesn't do enough to teach kids about Indian history and most kids don't learn about it until they reach college.

I remember learning Native Americans were one of the last civilizations on earth to use the wheel. If not for Europeans they might still be dragging Pocahontas around on bear skin and 2 sticks.

For Indians, it was until white people showed up.

They were literally using stone tools.

They would rape and skin you regardless of whether you were white, black, brown, or even other Indian tribe.

That's why we never made peace with them. The ones that weren't eradicated were pushed into Oklahoma.

In Louisiana, third graders learn about Louisiana history, which native Americans are a huge part of and read a book about the Trail of Tears.

Is it accurate that they are just left overs of what survived the illnesses we brought over from Europe?

Why is this significant piece of our shared history left out of public high school social studies classes?

They didn't seem to give a shite about recording their own history. Although our Indians were originally East Asians, the migrants that journeyed here may have inbred a bit too much. The culture really seemed to have stayed stagnant over a millennia.

They were the original dirty hippies.

Even if the Europeans had not colonized the area, it seems inevitable that other civilizations would have done the same.

It doesn't seem likely that there was ever a truly peaceful civilization. Colonization was the norm.
