he has proven us wrong in recent years with his zeal to label someone else, anyone else, the "worst President in history".

He should be happy to know that I assign the title of worst president in history to Woodrow Wilson as he presided over passage of the 17th amendment, the first iteration of what would become the UN and the creation of the federal reserve. Those acts would set the stage for what FDR would make the federal government into and that's the massive behemoth it is today and then LBJ would sign into law modern day America and the rest is history.

Wilson was the first big government and truly globalist President in American history.

Ha! Jimmy knows a thing or two about what's "illegitimate". He has "Little Jimmy" bastards running around all over Georgia.

Sanctimonious A-Hole.

Um, Those two things are entirely independent.

He quite obviously WON the election.

One can claim falsely that it's because of the Russians, but he won.

And, if elections where foreign governments interfered are invalid, we've never had a valid election.

Exemplary human beings don't tell bold face lies for political gain.

As the Boston Globe said about him and what he says (while he was President): “More Mush from The Wimp.”

He was worse than Obama. I lived, and if it hadn’t been for the family owning a gas station and kept a reserve for us to use we’d have been forced to sit at home and wait for a gas truck like everyone else so we could go to work.

LBJ was worse than Carter though

Yeah, Jimmy's bumbling ineffectiveness keeps him out of the top 3-4 worst presidents.

Oh boy! I can’t wait for the Trump reply. You know that orange son of a bitch is going to remind the world what an utter and absolute disaster the Jimmy Carter Presidency was.

This is disappointing to me, I thought he was different. I guess I'll celebrate his death as I did McCain and GHWB.

No he isn't! He is no better than any other politician whose names appear on roads, bridges, and buildings, and worse than most. He is a s. stain on America. If others like him had followed in the Presidency, the Soviet Union would have won the cold war. You guys are desperate for heroes. He was a failure domestic and foreign.
As I mentioned in another post. My standard of living improved every year after I finished HS, until Jimmy carter became President. Then it regressed.

Did I mention he killed the Nuclear Power industry in this country.
He pretended to be a Nuclear Engineer so he could speak from a position of expertise. Ha! he was an expert on nothing.

"One myth correction, however. President Carter was a submarine officer, but he was not a nuclear engineer.

He graduated from the US Naval Academy in June 1946 (he entered in 1943 with the class of 1947, but his class was in a war-driven accelerated 3 year program) with an undesignated bachelor of science degree. Even if the Naval Academy had offered a majors program for his class, it is unlikely that it would have included Nuclear Engineering as a option – after all, the Manhattan Project was a dark secret for most of his time at Annapolis.

After graduation, Jimmy Carter served as a surface warfare officer for a two years and then volunteered for the submarine force. He served in a variety of billets, including engineer officer of diesel submarines and qualified to command submarines."

“found” or could not prove due to obstruction? 2 different scenarios. I doubt there was actual collusion but trump would have accepted any help offered. his ego would not have allowed him to do the honorable thing and tell the FBI.

I had to pay 9.5% interest on my home loan when carter was in office.

Yeah, he has the right to judge Trump.
