It’s laughable but they all work for each team

If 100s of million of dollars in donation are coming from 50 donors, you are not rejecting the swamp. They own you.

IDK. How would someone find out?
Didn't he hand over his business to Jr. and Eric in 2015?

It's a bit ridiculous to accuse a guy who is engaging in perhaps the most successful culture war campaign of a generation as "swampy" and then claim I'm speaking in platitudes?
The facts are that Trump's biggest congressional ally is arguably the biggest neocon politician in America. That Trump hired the single biggest neocon specialist to work in his administration. That he's surrounded with grifters and establishment types and other fakes. Those aren't platitudes, those are the facts that led you to make your post.
Reasonable arguments could be:
- "Yes, he pals around with all sorts unsavory characters but ultimately Trump is Trump and he'll be right or wrong on his own terms." I think this is mostly true, but we're also talking about a guy who is going to war with DeSantis for taking on groomers, is lashing out at pro-lifers and Christians, etc.
- "Yes, he's posturing for the general with his centrist takes, but I don't think you can look at his first term and think he'll be loyal to that leftward shift." I think there is some merit there - a lot of the same concerns existing in 2016 - but without any real ideological stake on the ground how are we really to believe that? Trump isn't a trustworthy person. I don't think he's a leftist or intentionally going to burn us for sport, but I don't trust him and I think it's hard to make the case we should.

Hmmm How about this one?

In 2004, Soros lent Trump a cool $160 million to help with the construction of Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Jenna Ellis (who is a former Trump person and this board used to love)
If youre a Ronbois, youre prone to lie. They are so Trumpsessed that they have become a bastion of liars, hate mongers, vile, vain, jealous, sowers of discord, angry, divisive, envious, arrogant people. Ya know the worst humans that the Bible repeatedly warned us about
Run from what they want installed in our govt
quote:
Between late 2015 and early 2016, Ellis was a stern critic of Donald Trump's efforts to become the presidential nominee. Ellis also claimed that Trump was not a real Christian, accusing him of seeking to destroy American democracy. In a later radio interview, she made similar claims about how Trump's views on libel laws constituted "one of the greatest threats to our liberty" before going on to propose that the Republican Party set up a brokered convention to stop him from becoming the party's presidential nominee, something that she believed he "absolutely should not be".
Ellis criticized Trump's supporters, stating that their arguments in support of him were "ridiculously illogical, inconsistent, and blatantly stupid", and that they neither cared "about facts or logic" nor were they "seeking truth", before going on to indirectly brand them as "narcissists".

I wonder of Soros giving him all that money led to this:
quote:
“Oh, forget Soros, leave him alone, he’s got enough problems,” Trump said at a 2011 Tea Party rally when one attendee yelled the billionaire’s name at him.
“He goes, ‘What about Soros!’” Trump continued. “Let’s talk about somebody else.”

First off. Can we cordially dismiss the widely used RonBot talking points that Ron is not accepted, criticized because Trump started it and we obey Trump.
You don't know me. I saw DeSantis coming before Trump and Sundance said little bo peep. I vetted him on my own. It is not difficult to see it now-- but I saw the DeSantis establishment trick & connection a while ago. My gut seldom leads me wrong.
You also are failing to see that with BOR when Trump spoke of his great vax HE WAS BOOED.
Until you can point out someone with frick you money like Trump...Or name anyone that has ever outright bucked the establishment in current time. Spare me your snotty diplomatic establishment tripe.
Name a President that would go to the Rose Garden and cancel the Paris accords and form the new trade agreement with Mexico. Cause peace in the middle East WITH a rocking in the free world economy.
When I lived in Cuba I saw and spoke in depth with people that walked through the NE Gate daily that lived in full communism. Our classic rock radio station in GTMO was rocking in Castro's backyard.
I have lifelong prep school friends that lived in Venezuela; and they tell me we are not far from tanks in our streets. That is not hyperbole.
Do you really want another McCain, Romney, Rubio, Ryan? They all play for the same team. It would be insane to fall for the canned politician R & D dynasties again.

I think that's fair, but loses steam when you consider that many of the Trump supporters on this board will immediately come out as for certain gun control measures, being pro-choice, etc. if Trump told them to. And I mean immediately.

Apparently this did not impact his policy decisions because Trump is very different than Soros on a lot of key issues.

Apparently we've got another Jenna Ellis truther who cites comments she made in 2016 and then completely ignores that she was given the job of Senior Legal Advisor for the campaign thereafter
"She wasn't ever a true believer or a Trump person. She said Trump was a fake Christian long before Trump hired her to represent his campaign!" - it's just such an amazing take
Once upon a time being able to suspend all the boundaries of normal human thought and discourse to avoid conceding obvious hypocrisy/absurdity was limited to the fringe left
But as we see, that's no longer the case

Cordially, no.
If Trump tells you to take a position you will take it. I earnestly (and reasonably) believe this.

Lol, after going through that.
So its basically Trump and Desantis do the same.
So basically we are all dumbasses. Ron boys want don Jr, and Trump boys want Ron Sr.
And in the end, a Democrat will be president.
