In what world should plaintiffs attorneys be funding judicial campaigns, wining and dining them?

How about woke corporations, tech giants, and corporate media? Where's your courage at now? You're doing their bidding.

How are the schyster plaintiffs attorneys keeping that in check?

I was involved in a vehicle accident at probably 3-5mph…..my insurance company got sued by the occupants and even by some folks who weren’t even there, but heard about it and wanted to join. None of the litigants went to an actual dr or hospital, all were diagnosed by “clinics” run by the attorneys. In what world is that sticking it to the woke corporations? That’s making everyone’s insurance higher bc people involved in a slow fender bender think that’s their lotto ticket.

Is this the best we can muster?

Louisiana is looking for serious leadership and serious people to please do something with this state, and what do we get, but a bunch of tired old Democrat sounding nonsense. You’ll pardon me if I don’t put my faith in any of these people. I have enough snake oil.

The ones who were actually involved got a menial settlement, the assholes who just thought it fun to include themselves just bc got tossed. Unfortunately, the insurance refused to seek charges against that piece of shite.

No, but there should be an actual injury, not some bullshite cooked up to grab some easy cash. If there was an actual injury, shouldn’t the people have gone to a real Dr instead of some flunky on the attorneys payroll? Not sure how to reform that, but that certainly doesn’t give your profession the appearance of being on the up and up.

Not sure they even got that…..there was literally no way they were actually injured. One of them claimed some “grave bodily injury” nonsense and didn’t see a doctor until 2 weeks later.

I have a feeling a lot of folks, who know deep down inside that the Gordon McKernan types, have cost LA dearly will feel the same way and not vote for Landry.

Have they learned nothing from the past 8 years of John Bel? Because that’s exactly what may happen again if these same “Republicans” refuse to vote Landry in the runoff. This story in the John Georges’ Advocate was specifically designed to suppress conservative turnout.

Who’s saying that? If it’s Landry/Wilson I’ll grit my teeth, but in no way is the primary a binary choice.

This state supports winner. We supported Orgeron when LSU was winning, for goodness sakes. It has nothing to do with an accent (which isn't even all that strong) and everything to do with him being a hack.

He's definitely not a perfect candidate, but to say he's not any better than non-honor-code-Edwards who has bucked the trend of the entire conservative southern states on a number of issues, you're being very dishonest.

The vast majority of posters have indicated that while they have another preferred GOP candidate, if the runoff comes down to Landry vs Wilson, they will vote for Landry. I'll be drunk when I do it, but I will do it.

Agreed, but polls seems to indicate we are in the minority, my friend.

Landry went to Southern? We need Kennedy to run.
