My wife couldn’t have kids. She’s the strongest, most God centered, American loving woman I know.
Jesus taught and preached forgiveness and turning the other cheek throughout his ministry. But I wound have to seek his forgiveness, because I would hit you in your fricking mouth if you said this in my presence. And the same to the potential Vice President of the United States of America.
If I took your words or his out of context, like the lazy left does, please accept my apology, and tell me how I took it out of context, so I can educate people adequately.

I'm just surprised the Christians on this forum are open to pagans being in the white house, but you are attacking cat-ladies as non-christians?
I'm a Christian. I have no problem with Vance. He acknowledges there is a God and that he's ain't it! He has a moral compass which is directed by something/someone greater than he. He's not an extremest or a fundamentalist.
I'm betting most Christians share my opinion.
His opinions and life demonstrate a Good Orderly Direction.
See what I did there?

It doesn't fricking matter what he means when the media is 90% liberal and they will spin this on a 24 hour basis. Just stick to the Republican play book and quit making these superfluous comments. Focus on attacking the Biden / Harris record on inflation, the border, international conflicts and lawfare on Trump and the American people.

You could read the thread or look it up yourself before you start making dumb statements about hitting people in the mouth

Yeah, I knew about Washington. But he took in two young stepchildren when he married the widowed Martha. So he effectively did raise children.
Andrew Jackson also raised two adopted children from infancy and served as legal guardians to several others.
James Buchanan was a lifelong batchelor but he adopted and raised his two orphaned nieces.
Kamala's stepchildren were teenagers who lived with their Mom so not exactly the same thing.

He said it in 2021

Making a general comment like that about women without children probably is wrong in many instances. Pretty stupid thing to say
He should have better articulated his opinion, considering the many dim witted people in this country (and this discussion board) who are unable to comprehend context.

So we can't say true things because the media is against us? We have to be at the mercy of Rachel Maddow and Jennifer Rubin and how they will spin it?
Say they true things, and say them with conviction, and do not apologize for saying hard truths. Then let the chips fall where they may. But for God's sake, don't be a pussy afraid to speak up.

Can you dig up the entire statement from 2021 and post it here?
quote:
“The thing is that we’re effectively run in this country via the Democrats, be it via our corporate oligarchs, by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too,” Vance told Carlson in the recently resurfaced interview from 2021.
“It’s just a basic fact that if you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC [Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez], the entire future of the Democrats, is controlled by people without children. And how does it make any sense that we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?”
I am a conservative; I get the point he was trying to make and agree with it in principle. But the way he expressed it was kinda Trumpian. Metaphoriclaly, I wish Trump/Vance would build bridges instead of walls.
I have no opposition to border walls.

Not a single person will vote either way based on this comment.
Apparently your definition of "massively" differs from mine.

brother, not many out there stronger than me. it is a bullshite statement trying to cater to a base. as republicans we shouldnt be judging why someone chooses or doesnt choose to have kids. In some cases people dont have a choice and can only adopt. If you work or make a positive contribution to the country and your community, then you are contributing to the future of the country and should have a say. not only that, everyone has a say because everyone has the right to vote. you are only going to lose votes with this kind of bullshite not gain any.
I can guarantee that if there is a debate kamala is going to bring this up on trump and make the party look like shite over it. and there is absolutely nothig trump will be able to counter with.
