Same reson Biden keeps illegally trying to forgive student loan debt? Child tax credits dont' amout to isht for people that get it, nor the government.
The biggest tax breaks all go to real estate. Nothing gets more favorably treated in the tax code that real estate. The home mortgage income tax deduction is massive, just by itself. The depreciation rules are even bigger.
The ignorance around taxes is always entertaining. Congrats on being today's fodder.

Kinda makes sense.
How many times have we heard the Dims/Groomers and US Chamber of Commerce/Wall Street types tell us we need millions of illegals in the country because Americans are not reproducing? We have heard it quite a bit.
I would rather incentivize Americans to reproduce than allow a buncha illegals to enter the country as a strategy to address Americans not having children. In case you haven't noticed, a lot of these immigrants the past 30 or so years don't seem to assimilate very easily, or they don't want to assimilate.

I make the point all the time about the irony of Trump using the term “RINO”.
He is a lifelong Democrat who joined the Republican Party to run for president touting HIS message, some of which aligned with Republican principles but much of which does not. He has, albeit with the complicity of many in the party, hijacked the Republican name.
The recent MAGA National Convention featuring Amber Rose, Kid Rock, a Hindu prayer and changing position was definitely “Republican in name only”.

From a government perspective, it is obviously better to have a growing population. Personally I think they should just fix the marriage penalty that puts married people in a higher tax bracket than they would be if single.
