NYT: JD Vance frequently scrolls on his phone during meetings and is known for engaging directly with critics on social media.
White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has encouraged him to reduce his online activity, arguing that public social media feuds are beneath the office of the vice president.

He's likely in meetings all day long. Not figuratively, but literally. And there's no way to tell whether it's work related but most would assume that most times they are.
