It probably was exactly what they said, a low ranking manager not knowing what to do. Maybe she was a lefty, but it clearly was no policy of the ownership.
The buck stops with the Top (Ownership). This business should be unmercifully slammed as an example to ALL business, that if the Ownership tacitly supports a particular political ideology to the degree in their policy that "lower management" is allowed to blatantly takes sides, then you risk losing half (or more, in this case) of your business.
The political divide in this Nation is extreme and irreconcilable, as it's now a zero-sum-game. It's Constitutional Principal via God-given inalienable Rights vs Marxist/Socialist Ideology. And everybody knows that it will be one or the other that triumphs, just like Hamas/Hezbollah or Israel, as one cannot tolerate the existence of the other.
The restaurant scenario is just a symptom of an underlying disease, with far more painful symptoms to manifest soon enough. What else is new in the historical record.

Blaming it on confusion? Gtfo. Somebody was playing politics and the company is now back peddling.

It's amazing how people are desperate for something to be upset about. The restaurant ownership group are obviously successful business people or they wouldn't own that many restaurants. Usually business people don't decide as an organization to alienate an entire political base.
If it was a manager that didn't know how to handle the situation and made a bad decision then they might need to fire that person. If it was a manager that did it for political reasons then she should obviously be fired.
This whole thing is dumb and par for the PT Karens.

You're triggered. Grow up.

Then fricking fire her. That’s the only way I’m eating at Primanti Bros again.
How often do you eat there? Tell the truth.

While Senator Vance was extremely gracious today about being denied entry to Primanti’s today, this statement is NOT accurate. Senator Vance was denied entry and he and his team were NOT welcomed into the restaurant after the initial “confusion.” Perhaps Primanti’s isn’t being told the truth by their Manager who threatened to call the police if he entered. Senator Vance spoke with and took photos with patrons outside in the parking lot but there were no interactions inside other than him going in to pay for everyone’s food. I wouldn’t otherwise comment further on this but the false statement requires correcting it. I was told staff had contacted the restaurant prior and as a matter of fact, a sandwich was ordered for the Senator which was sitting at a seat for him just prior to the motorcades arrival.

So has the Ownership/Management made a statement to lucidly define their belief and policy? So that both their employees and clients will know where they stand.

Yeah....bud light was just one person....
It does not work that way. People higher up made that decision and there is fallout.
Why any self respecting republican would go to any of their businesses is beyond me. Let them provide proof positive of their intentions: Invite Trump and Vance to any of their restaurants and give out free food to the patrons

Damn, you've lived in a lot of places.
I was probably never going to eat there anyway.

Treat them like Bud Light. No mercy.
Fck em.
There are plenty of good restaurants and bars in Pittsburgh where you don't have to give your money to liberal progressive shiteheads. I'm there 4-6 times a year.
