I get it. My employees do stupid stuff sometimes as well.
But…this is the freaking candidate for VP OF THE UNITED STATES!
What on earth made this employee feel like he/she could do this? You don’t just fire this person. You make an example out of he/she/it some kind of way.
I would do the same if one of my idiot employees did it to the Dem candidate.
I don’t understand why these businesses feel it’s a good idea to alienate any potential customers.

The funniest thing about all of this is looking back the cancel culture was used by the left to target people they didn't agree with and when questioned about it, they always said it was within their right to run their business and spend their money how they liked...
So now, when the right starts doing it in mass in a much more strategic approach (see Robby Starbuck vs DEI) and now the left begins to question if maybe the approach is overzealous...
The left, the party of unintended consequences...

"I support the bakery, but I'm going to vote for the authoritarians on the left that forced these people out of business"
"I also think this restaurant that didn't serve one of my domestic enemies is great, because I'm aware that the authoritarians I vote for will always make sure not to serve my enemies, because these actions always go one way."
"I don't support child grooming either, but I'm damn sure going to vote for the people that will groom your kids"
I could do this all day

It's amazing how people are desperate for something to be upset about. The restaurant ownership group are obviously successful business people or they wouldn't own that many restaurants.
So what? There are legions of businessmen that make stupid amounts of profit in spite of treating large swaths of potential customers like shite, for reasons political and otherwise. Hollywood is filled with execs that absolutely despise and insult anyone between Death Valley and the Hudson Valley. None of them are going bankrupt. Because traditionally, Americans kept buying their products anyway. Movies, beer, whatever. That's only now really starting to change. The right has discovered its spine at the checkout counter. But it'll take a while before it becomes more widespread. It takes a long time for old habits to change.

Usually business people don't decide as an organization to alienate an entire political base.
They do it all the time, especially when they think "We're the future, they aren't". We're entering an era where various brands and products will be as much an ideological identifier as bumper stickers on a car. Again, it'll take time, but it started happening years ago. One of the reasons Starbucks has so many national competitor chains in the Red States is the void in the market they created when they started flinging shite like a monkey at a zoo. In my modest Southern suburb, there used to be Starbucks, and that was it. Now there are two other drive through coffee chains, with two more building locations, and Starbucks business notably declined here after the George Floyd horeshit.
It's these businesses that picked sides first. Not the customers. frick 'em, and let them feel the full consequences of their decisions.

Why do people keep saying this was only on the manager? Apparently there are witnesses to her getting the same direction from her superiors.

According to reports, after showing up to Primanti Bros in North Versailles, Pennsylvania, a restaurant worker told the press that cameras were not allowed and that they did not want a “campaign event.”
The worst part of this is the hypocrisy. This is the very same location that weeks ago kicked out real customers so that Harris could be bring in her own campaign staffers pretending to be diners for a campaign commercial. They were fully onboard with THAT campaign stop.

They don’t hate you! Can you read? Can you understand what you read? This happened because a low level manager either exercised poor judgment or was petty over political differences. The owners of the company were guiltless. This is according to Vance, himself. Or do you think Vance is in on the conspiracy?

Because no CEO has EVER thrown a subordinate under the bus in an attempt at damage control.
Geez man, just stop it.
