Why in the world would a governor feel the need to get involved with a mayor's race?

You have no idea how the Baton Rouge Democrat slush machine works, do you?

That walleyed motherfricker has to lick the correct taint right now if he has a hope in hell of getting the BR Democrat machine to buy votes for him in a senate bid. If he licks the wrong taint and the BR machine decides to give him the cold shoulder and not work to deliver the votes, the rest of the state is going to be able to send his looking in two directions at the same time arse back to Amite.

He almost got sent back to the hell from whence he came last year WITH the NO and BR slush machines working full speed. There is ZERO chance he ever holds another office if he doesn't back the right candidates in BR and NO.

I can see you are starting to see the total picture, The city hall crowd could care less about the good of the whole as long as they have access to the mayor, influence, and their pet projects are pushed forward and given special treatment.

I’m a pub who was generally fine with JBE. I didn’t vote in the last election, but Rispone’s campaign was absolutely pathetic.

JBE lost me here though.

That being said... if Broome would have addressed the flooding issues, I would have sucked her dick and voted for her twice.

Matt Watson it is. I’m now that guy encouraging family/friends to get out and vote.

Kickbacks and ignorance.

JBE is a hypocritical spineless worthless human being who is actively and knowingly destroying this state and it’s economy with a smile on his face for his own selfish and narcissistic reasons.

And Latoya and Broome are even worse.

This state is depressing.

Imagine what we could do with slightly corrupt and barely competent leadership. That’s the bar these officials have set. They’re so grossly corrupt, ignorant, and destructive that general incompetence would be an upgrade.

He appears very genuine and works hard, would you ever see Broome under for overpass at Sherwood literally pulling weeds up and sweeping sidewalks in the heat of July? Watson did with friends from DOTD, before even getting elected cleaning shite up around here. Imagine what public private relationships he could get done in the mayors office
