the fact that you let Obama fool you speaks volumes about you. None of it good. Why even admit to that?

Maybe republicans should start vetting their statewide candidates. I feel like 90% of LA 'republicans' are just democrats who stamped an R next to their name because consulting firms assured them they'd never win as democrats.

At every level. We have one of the most obvious examples here in Lafayette.

Democrats are a damaged brand. They are weak on crime, pro riots, care about illegal immigrants more than anyone else, and cheer for boys pretending to be girls in sports. They are the party of blue haired cat ladies. There is nothing less masculine than voting Democrat.

Crappieman definitely votes Democrat.

Really? Why? What's really the difference?

The difference is Landry is much, much worse because he’s a traitor to the GOP.

At least with JBE, the legislature can freely oppose and JBE has to negotiate.

Don’t think he will ever get elected in Louisiana again.

His handling of COVID and being a Biden stooge ruined his future for anything else.

LowTmcgin apparently doesn’t have a television to see Los Angeles burning. How do you watch PBS without a TV tranny?

I understand Landry is not great, but how can any common sense Louisiana citizen that went through JBE shitting on them during Covid and say with a straight face that Landry is much, much worse than JBE.

For all of Landry's faults, he was there for Louisiana citizens during vaxx mandates showing people in this state how to exempt themselves with Louisiana laws (medical, religious, etc) while JBE was literally saying, "Your rights don't matter during a Pandemic."

Isn't he fat and happy working for some big New Orleans law firm shaking down multi million dollar environmentalist payouts?

He was specializing in back end work for carbon capture projects I believe. The funding for that just got DOGE’d I believe.

This.

I can’t stand Huey P Landry, but I’ll still take him as Governor over what we had during John Bel Edwards’s second term. Every day of the week.

That's just the thing... He was pretty much already running for gov at the time and was flexing power of the AG for publicity. Candidate Landry talks a lot of game. Governor Landry is a different animal.

I said the same thing the day this dude was taking the oath. You will be in the exact same boat financially the day Landry leaves office as the day JBE did. Absolutely the same. Actually possibly worse since Mississippi and Alabama are revving up so much.

Hmm, that's an interesting point.

Landry has pretty much been JBE's 3rd term - hell it seems like he's letting the trial lawyers call the shots more than JBE did. Louisiana is going to be fricked for years to come.

No. I vote for the candidate who articulates his vision, goals, plans, and has integrity. Anyone who blindly votes based solely on a R or D behind their name is a fool. Rispone saying Im with Trump, I cut him a check is all it took for south La to turn away from Dr. Ralph Abraham.

Landry refused debates, to outline his plans and platform, sued reporters asking for info under the FOIA and was rewarded again because of an R behind his name.

Agree about the stupidity of the average South LA "conservative" voter, but the only redeeming thing about Foster was his elevating Bobby.
