Hey dumbass we don't eat babies.

We just profit from the goodies in the umbilical cord.

I'd love to harpoon a whale, or hunt a tiger or lion or something. Not like that pussy dentist though. I want to walk into the jungle with a spear or something and track down a tiger and kill him. Man vs Beast. I'll give the tiger meat to tracing kids or something.

Where's that fatass whale cop that almost gets his inexperienced crews killed in every episode of his TV show?

Close, but not big enough and too attractive.

Wouldn't put it past some of the dims. They do that spirit cooking stuff too.

Some European countries use fetuses in their heating plants for fuel.

Orcas probably kill as many whales per year as humans do. You gonna ban them from killing whales, too?

I can answer that!

Gf is native Yup'ik and they eat whale.

I've had raw aged bowhead whale...it's very bloody and is like the best tasting sushi I've had. Very good.

Also muktuk which is whale blubber strips.

Seal is also very good as well, lots of natives dip stuff in seal oil, make soup or curry with the meat. The meat is also dark and taste livery.

Thanks for the description. I'm all about new foods, I just wouldn't eat whale (or shark fin soup) because I know the damage it causes.

Do you eat chicken, beef, or pork?

We have more than enough chickens, cows, and pigs in this world. Not as many whales as once though.

Yup'ik and Inupiaq cultures in Alaska hunt whales, seals, and walruses as a part of a subsistence life style.

It's wooven into their culture and cannot be stopped.

However, they do harvest sustainably because they have been doing it for time immemorial and they work with the federal government to ensure it as well

I agree, in a situation like that all is well. They aren't hunting enough to damage the species. Japan, Norway, and Iceland on the hand..

I agree. Whales do cause a lot of damage. I don't get the "whale worship" bit the enviro-nutbags" have. Whales are just basically really, really, reeeally big sardines with lungs. Big fat sardines with beady little eyes...black lifeless eyes..like a dolls eyes.

Trophy hunters in Africa
what's wrong with legal trophy hunters? They buy tags just like you and me, and either keep the meat or give it to the local villages and it's not like the game reserves where they hunt are letting them kill an endangered species

Hunting anything to extinction is bad and Idk how much the Japanese or Scandinavian kill whales but I do know certain whale populations are flourishing nicely right now and it's possible that they aren't hunting endangered species. Now if they are, as someone else said, they can burn in hell
