How the frick are they denied bail?
Because we are living in a post-Constitutional era; Equal Justice and Rule of Law is a joke. The Dems ignore it when beneficial, and the cowardly Republicans protest and whine while getting steam rolled by corrupt Dems.
Dems have printed so much money, and are importing so many 'hard bodies' to do their street work, that economic dysfunction, collapse and anarchy is a fait accompli. The 'abuse' of these pre-hot war 'Martyrs' will look like child's play compared to what is coming. And there ain't a damn thing either Side can do to control it. Marxism 101.

How the frick are they denied bail?
From what I've found the majority of those charged were actually ROR'd, i.e. released on own recognizance, i.e. no bail even necessary. Now, ask yourself after having heard it from the media, the frightening description of all these people arrested, they were/are pretty much domestic terrorists who are an imminent danger to society, YET the majority were frickin ROR'd, essentially indicating an overall lack of concern about these people and their being out of jail, thus the govt opinion of the vast majority of charges being low, low level. We sure didn't hear much about these little informative details. And personally, I haven't much paid attention to any news articles about the subject of their bail (or not), but rather just the official status info straight from the source, the DOJ website.
Then on the far end, in schizophrenic form, the government holds some others without bail. And from what I saw, the various charges definitely did not warrant no bail holds. But see, they'd made such a huge spectacle of the whole thing that it would be a terrible look to have every single person out on bond or ROR. Folks would say "well, then they couldn't be THAT bad, could they??"
So the government simply addressed that little concern of their's by doing whatever they pleased in order to arrange the narrative exactly how they saw fit.....damn court rules, damn the law, and damn the Constitution and its jurisprudence. They wanted, no, needed it to appear as if they'd captured some REAL bad mamma jammas.
I know that's long winded as hell, but this particular topic gets me riled up because of how outrageous it all was/is. And I find it particularly ominous.

No, but given the environment in DC, it certainly seems plausible.

So are you suggesting the ET fabricated the story about the US Marshall Service declaring that conditions at the D.C. jail were unsatisfactory and did not meet the minimum detention guidelines of the Federal Government?
What a troll.

So, they're doing the gas chamber treatment to torture their political prisoners, eh?
While you shaking your head in disgust, remember this Soccer Mom? They'll eventually get around to gas you.

Or maybe, and I know this is going to sound crazy, some people on that day really did have something terrible planned, and they are the ones still in custody. Maybe they didn’t lock up every person who “just walked in a building” like you all want to have happened.
MAYBE, the people still locked up deserve to be there. Crazy, I know.

If they're gassing us, you know now to comply.

this is all normal for jail. it's traumatizing and unconstitutional. you leave worse than when you arrived. it's weird so many here and across the country expect it not to be.

I’ve been to jail and everyone gets maced at some point or another. A fight breaks out, everyone gets maced. That and the flashlight is the only weapon they have over the inmates.
This is getting blown out of proportion by our ridiculous media circus.

Yeah, well more often than not even murder suspects get a bond. They can range from relatively low ($100,000ish) to pretty high ($1+ million). So now that you have something else in the real world to compare and contrast on the subject of bail, let me know how and why my criticism is misplaced.

MAYBE.
And that is exactly why we have a court system to determine guilt or innocent of such charges — not an indefinite detention based on mere MAYBES.
This is why the 6th Amendment guarantees all citizens a right to a fair and speedy trial by an impartial jury.

Damn finger slipped while I was trying to “upvote” 1000 times! You are exactly right! If that caught the downvote my apologies.
