They should be deported or go through the legal immigration process.

To use an analogy: if someone's parents rob a bank, are you proposing we let the kids keep all the money. They didn't intend to break the law and they have grown accustomed to a new lifestyle because of their parent's crimes. So let them keep the money, right?

Diversity quotas? You need to stop reading conservative news. I have never met an intelligent educated white guy who couldnt find a job in my life. Its going to be ok.

This isn’t about the educated though. I think all Americans of all colors and education levels should be given hiring priority over illegal immigrants.

Also, why are Eastern Asians and Indians never included in the people of color being shat upon conversation?

The Far Left's positions, policies, and philosophies don't support much of anything other than open borders - which are exactly the same thing as no borders at all. And they certainly disregard plainly written law.

A country is basically defined by borders, language, and culture(which itself can produce things like laws).

Ergo, the Far Left's long-term goal appears to be the dissolution of the USA...

Sometimes people who break the law are allowed to avoid charges. Lawfully.

Pardoned felons like Arpaio.
Government informants.
690 thousand people brought here illegally.

GOP is not negotiating with Dems to enforce the law. They're negotiating with dems who want to change the law.

Dems are standing ground on an issue that sides with "illegals" based on humanitarian and economic grounds. If they have been here their entire lives, contributing to our system (point of debate obviously), it makes sense to allow them to continue.

Most in this board will now raise pitchforks at the notion, but his is playing out exactly how checks and balances are supposed to work. The party in power is experiencing resistance from the minority. As responsible leaders, its their job to govern responsibly and not demand that the opposition bend to their might.

Every time I see James Woods' name, it makes me want to watch The Boost (1988) again.

Good movie about him moving to California and getting addicted to cocaine and his life falling apart.

sad to see so many people following politics like it's a game. polarity is opiate for the masses.

this justification is only allowed when the GOP is in power

when the DEMs are in power "Trying to do good" and the GOP is the opposition party, the narrative is "obstruction" or "the party of no"

for an example, Let me know when Time runs a similar hit piece on the current DEMs

also, what is responsible about choosing people who violated the law over citizens who have citizen children who need health care? how is THAT rational or responsible? that's the choice the DEMs made...DACA over CHIP

They'll probably get pummeled for it in 2018. When that happens, GOP can make whatever choices they want. Till then, we'll all sit through the political fingerpointing.
