the whole "why is this so hard to grasp" will rely on the same bullshite "arguments" used to call the Constitution a "living document"

and it's not just a DEM issue. the GOP historically loves using that argument when it suits them

The argument made is pretty goddam simple, based on the laws past and enacted by your own Congress. What's your response other than muh immigrants, come on we're waiting.

You don't see "common sense" and James Woods used that often in the same sentence.

This quote shows why.

Ok. Explain. Present your argument, preferably with facts not emotions and quotes engraved on the Statue of Liberty. The floor is yours.

Politicians on both sides love making laws. Making laws generates credibility and headlines. They don't care near as much for taking measures to see that the ones already on the books are enforced. There are no headlines for that.

Most of the quotes I read from Woods make me imagine him screaming them as he tries to pull away from two guys in white coats.

So he's screaming that minors who had no knowledge of or intent to break immigration laws should be thrown in jail.

Bring in the men in the white coats.

he's saying we have laws

allowing them to stay violates those laws

what are you saying? it's ok to ignore our laws if enforcing them may upset you (or somebody else)?

The topic for this week is Dreamers. Why wouldn't I think that his comment included them?
