Hopefully he does not get protected custody at all. It is the only way to let them all know a person does not abuse the public trust and expect favors.

Comey knows he is done. Someone claims they spotted a big fella that looked just like him in a drugstore recently. They said the big fella spent over 30 minutes in the "Wellness" aisle asking questions about whether to go with a desensitizer or a natural, silicon, or water based lubricant.

While true, this isn't really that. This is a guy skirting the law in a very dangerous way because he thought he could accomplish his objective and get away with it.
He's probably right that ultimately, he won't be found guilty. But, reality is different than what a court will decide. The TRUTH is what is important.

A few things are certain
1. You ain't gonna play for Kirby Smart or the Falcons
2. Obama will spend the rest of his life as a free man and making movies that no one will watch
3. Hillary will be drinking herself into a stupor in Chappaqua with Chelsea and the grandkids taking care of her.
4. Neither Hillary , Obama or Comey will be going anywhere near a prison.
5. You'll still be complaining about it

I was in fact upset about the prosecution of Trump by Bragg, The civil sexual case because of a bullshite law that should have been struck down by Hochul. The case on the bank loan was pure harassment. I even had problems with Smith's January 6 case becausexI thought it was penalizing free speech.
I did however think the records case had legs because Trump was subourning obstruction of justice and all but encouraging perjury by his lawyers over what could have been simply a civil case that could have been settled without the show both sides produced.
