I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Tapper didn't say that. It would have already gone viral. I'd have no problem believing Chris Cuomo saying this, but Tapper tends to not say exceptionally stupid shite.

The term due process is what’s used to describe all the rights an accused has (right to counsel, remain silent, face and cross examine your accuser, speedy and public trial, and on and on). Instead of saying all that we just say someone’s right to due process or due process rights, but due process is not an actual singular right.
When I try to refute anything online, I often check and double check before i post. Sometimes I still miss something.
This is so wrong i don’t think I’d post again. Too much shame to be this off base. But maybe that poster has no shame.

I’m willing to bet it was said in the context of the #metoo stuff and private entities firing/disassociating from folks
ETA: and he’d be correct

Wonder why two separate amendments to the Constitution have Due Process Clauses, then?
That being said, I am skeptical that Tapper actually said this. I'd need to see the context of what he said.

Does this include the Deep State? Tapper is part of the deep state, so he probably thinks it does not apply to him.

Tapper said it this morning so I'm sure you can find his entire statement somewhere on the internet.

Meh, there has been soooo much BS spun by the Dumocrats the last 3 days and since this was just said this morning, I doubt the right will even have time to discuss it.

I don't just THINK sea serpents are real, I KNOW sea serpents are real.
Sounds to me like you just have a problem with handling the truth.

How about we get a link for this?

Is there a link to this?

No matter if we find a link or not. We still got this piece of gold.
