What do you mean? The "oil companies are making billions and billions" didn't resonate with you?

Temporary gas and diesel prices don’t define an economy. They simply allow stupid people to be swayed by believing that and voting to prove their stupidity. GDP numbers prove the actual economy.

Tell that to the people buying groceries at the store and filling up their cars at the pump. They don’t give a shite about GDP.

I agree, Nethanyahoo and Israel has tried to get every US president since Carter to attack Iran, Trump knew better and was completely opposed to it, per multiple insiders but for some reason he caved. Apparently this was right after Mossad killed Charlie Kirk and the bullet wizzed right past his ear. (Probably them again) Trump knows who fricked him and now they are trying to get him to Nuke Iran. If he does that he is compromised and should be removed from office.

And that will all return to normal before any of these people take office in January without anything changing.

So what does that show? People are ignorant and can be easily swayed by temporary shite.

Trump has already said he's not letting Iran off the hook. And if you want a quiet ME, you better hope he's successful.

Uh, yeah. This isn’t some new development. It’s been like this since we’ve been a country. The best response to this, if you want your party to be competitive in an election, is probably not telling Americans to just suck it up.

it's because people know it's Iran and they would never live up to any agreement to not build a bomb anyway

So what did they do? They went out and elected muslims and socialists, totally redeeming themselves.

And again, it was more than just a bomb, we removed their missile program that gave them leverage over the Strait of Hormuz, the nuclear program, and control of the Middle East, transformed how oil flows through the Middle East. But people couldn't just wait a few more months, had to vote for those muslims and socialists at first chance. It will haunt them for the rest of their lives, just ask Europe.

That graphic is hilarious because a year later Dims created a pandemic to destroy the economy

Imagine being so fricking stupid that you can't grasp that all time world record diesel prices jack up the price of literally everything you buy.

But you keep clinging to that mantra about gas prices at the pump.

I don't think it's just the economy. A lot of people are pissed that we're in a war they didn't want and that's what they blame for the poor economy. I don't like the war, but I understand it. I just wish we would have beaten Iran into submission from the beginning but Trump kept showing mercy. That's what ultimately cost the Republicans. Unpopular presidents during war time won't keep the house or senate, no matter if Satan is on the other side or not.

Donald Trump started this war. It was his job to sell it to the American people, and he failed spectacularly.

People complaining about high gas prices under Trump has been one of the dumbest complaints I have heard this election cycle considering we were all paying even more under Biden.

Shut up dumbass. I guarantee you were bitching up a storm when they were high under Biden. Now you want to ignore gas prices after your president campaigned heavily on the topic? The grift is over bud, sorry you can't accept it.

Of course it hasn’t. Trump has been screaming that the economy and everything was great. And it has been. For him, his sons, and his son in law. This term he is has shown to be extremely out of touch and borderline delusional.

Yep. It’s not rocket surgery. This board will come to accept it at some point.

For all the crazy shite Democrats push, one thing will always be true: cost of living will always trump every other concern Americans have. For better or for worse.

If that were true, Obama would have been removed from office after his first term. You don't vote for Marxists while claiming you're concerned with the cost of living. It's all identity politics.

Face facts, we're now a socialist country. If not totally, we're definitely on our way there.

True, and this type of night is a normal midterm outcome for the past hundred years. I’m not sure why people are spending more than five seconds analyzing it.

My health insurance jumped 60% this past year. I pay more for that increase...per month...than my total monthly fuel bill, at todays prices.

But hey...let's put the dems back in control...they'll fix all of that.

The average voter in this country is an idiot.

You think fuel and grocery prices are high now
Wait till 2028 when dems control everything you will really see what high prices really are

Arms want the government to control everything and that will be a disaster especially when they nake your and my salaries what ever they choose to make them

We are in for a rought 6 to 8 years coming up and dems may never lose power again

Might as well start calling this the United States of Socialist America

The idiots who sat at home or who voted blue are hypocrites. The economy today is certainly better or nor worse than it was under Biden. The Iran war cost the Republicans what little control they had, but on top of that they had squandered it when they had control. So now we will watch the government do nothing, as these "Karens" and "Hadjis" we have elected will ineffectively shut down everything so they can try to throw Trump out of office. An office which he can hold for only two more years on any account.
And why? It was not about the economy, that is absolute BS. this was about going back to more library tranny hour, indoctrination of our young people, and open borders to allow whatever wants to come into this country to walk across and be welcomed with Democratic handouts.
So if you sat at home, or worse sky screamed over a war to keep a nuclear bomb out of the hands of fanatical jihadists, then you are to blame for what is coming.

Civilized countries have built the bomb. Iran when, not if, they build one will use it. Only a fool could believe otherwise
