It’s sad how many boomers can’t handle it when people switch from supporting Don to Ron.

Why do boomer-cons feel so threatened on a personal level when conservative people weigh the facts and records of both men, and make a choice to support DeSantis?

I do find it hilarious that most of the ones demanding unquestioning allegiance to Trump (not to America or anything, just to Trump) are ones who took a long time to actually support him in the first place.

I don’t care who you, or any other, conservative supports

If Trump is on the ballot - he gets my vote - he has earned it

If he loses the republican nomination, he won’t be on the ballot - I will support whomever is

DeSantis backers need to have the same mindset

Why do y’all insist on starting these threads? He hasn’t even declared yet. Relax. Everyone that supports Trump will vote for DeSantis if he is the nominee.

Show me one “demand of unquestioning allegiance to Trump.” That’s the stalest talking point on the market today, and reeks of an absence of anything else to say. It reeks like a full diaper genie that hasn’t been emptied in 2 weeks - due to laziness.

what you ascribe "to boomers" is a pathetic admission that:

1. You have little in the way of actual knowledge of what you say.

and

2. You seem to think your demographically challenged barb is some sort of tik tok jab nonsense.

Try again, and consider using actual thought.

Better yet, take the time to have your own actual thought.

Because we know what is at stake here.. You young punks just follow the newest diversion like a moth to a flame. Your inability to understand the error of your ways puts the entire US in a bad and vulnerable place.
Short version... Your stupidity pisses us off.

What's sad is you think this is some sort of reality.

It seems to me that it's you bothered by this. You want to weigh the facts and post about it, but you want everybody to be quiet?

I supported him from day one.

Hell I’m mid-40s and I have a pretty good grasp on what’s at stake. The anti-Trump crowd is heavily caught up in, well, basically the same exact shite that the leftist haters are…..all Trump, all the time. The most stark absence is direct consideration of what will actually be awaiting the next President. We know things are tenuous, perilous, etc right now, but give it another year+, and we’ll potentially be looking at a situation never before seen in modern times on the international stage. IMO that’s the most important consideration, not the hysterical personality conflicts some folks have with Trump.

I think it's sad that you believe anyone cares how folks vote. We get through the primary, then get through the general, then deal with the results. Rinse and repeat until the country collapses from within.

Main reason I don't want Trump has nothing to do with how he would do as president. I want to win. He will not win the general. Trump was beaten by a dementia patient.

Trump was a good president. But his problem is that 50% of people are female. And a lot of those females are young or live in the suburbs or cities. And most of them hate him more than Tucker does.

I know some women love him. They are normally old and/or rural working class white women. Most young educated women don't know shite about politics or policy, they just know that they hate Trump.

We could win the senate, house, & presidency in 2024 if we don't frick it up, but I know we will. The senate is setup for a big swing, but not if we go Trump. We will lose bigly.

Perhaps some of those “boomers” are more mature than those who use the term “boomers” and know a thing or two from experience.

Just vote with your heart man.
I'll vote for my bank account if there's anything left by then.
