It would be a lot worse if dickheads like DolphinDaddy were the answer.
President Trump accomplished more in 4 years, facing unprecedented opposition from marxist democrats, their propaganda media, and his own fricking party, than any president accomplished in 8 years, in my lifetime. And that includes Ronald Reagan. Trump wasn’t perfect by any means, and not even conservative in some cases. But neither party has produced a better president for this country, probably since the founding fathers.

I think you’re greatly overstating the “worship” stuff. The tone and tenor from those who would prefer Trump in 2024 (after which those same Trump people almost unanimously agree “then hand the keys to Desantis”), anyhow, the tone from the Trump side of things is no different than that of the Desantis side of things. The “worship” talk is simply effective left/MSM gaslighting type operation that’s causing all that animosity.
ETA…..and to the bump stock stuff, keep this comparable situation in mind when that criticism comes up: for all this talk of red flag laws and the vocal opposition to it, don’t forget that Florida was one of the first states to enact that type legislation, in the wake of Parkland. Yes, it was the prior governor who did it, however if he wished Desantis could have rather easily defanged the law down to nothing with the near guaranteed help of his very friendly Republican legislature. Sometimes one’s favorite political leader will have a differing opinion than you. And everyone should understand and accept that reality. They are looking each of us up on Facebook and figuring out how to best satisfy our “principles”.

There will be nothing "hilarious" about what happens to this Nation because Trump's exceptional leadership qualities were a threat to the DC 'Cartel' that conspired to take him out and has abandoned Constitutional Principle for "fundamental change". As the pressure builds and people's prosperity and security are lost, there will be serious blow back. The TDS will evaporate as the pain replaces it. Live and learn.

However it turns out, there’s not a hint of doubt in my mind that Desantis and Trump will be on the same page and approach it as a team effort. Hard to believe people would think that Desantis would make himself a rival to Trump, or vice versa.

My life was a helluva lot better under Trump. How about you? Don’t get me wrong…I can weather this easily. But there’s families struggling mightily in these times. And it’s going to get worse. Imagine food shortages…fuel shortages. Are you prepared for that? Insane utility bills.

Trump, for all of this flaws, has the right idea that America is a great country and we ought to be proud of it rather than the guiltridden democrats that want to apologize for something.
