It’s amazing to me how successfully the Left has normalized the unthinkable

Not surprised at all. The moral decay in the country has accelerated to the point where there is no coming back. Just think, if you say God is real, that is somehow a controversial comment. Just a few short decades ago, it was normal to believe in God. Over 98% of the worlds population believes in God in one shape or another. Today? I would venture that over 15%+ of Americans dont believe in God. And it shows

The media can flip them on and off like a switch.

The CNN example in another thread. Not long ago saying someone was a thug was racist according to cnn. Therefore… they downloaded the programming and said it was racist. Switch on.

Now you have anchors saying Trump looks like a thug and it’s perfectly ok.
Switch off.

There is no free thought among them. They have a ring in their nose and clamor for it to be pulled in the direction they need to go.

Everywhere the left had complete, unfettered, control…. That place is a shithole. Everywhere. But they stay the course. Why? They are instructed to.

You think Hawaii wouldn’t vote for Biden again even though he insulted them? You think San Francisco is thinking about going a different direction? Chicago? You think New York will change direction because of the illegals? No. They are instructed to stay the course. So their nose ring is pulled and they obey and follow.

That’s what the left is. Kneel, take direction, obey, turn to follow, then march.

Show me a group of people willing to say a dude in a dress is actually a woman and I’ll show you a group that will believe almost anything they are instructed to believe:


Masking is crucial
Systemic racism is the only reason for poor outcomes
Burning a building is peaceful, entering a building is insurrection

Etc.

It started with Russia. Once they realized they could get away with that and make it appear that Trump was a criminal and Traitor, they moved on to Impeachment. A more deft politician may have been able to maneuver the Russia stuff better but he couldn't, and they smelled blood.

They were able to use these tactics to blunt his entire Presidency and agenda. They normalized on the Left that he is far beyond just "a bad person" like all Republicans are, but something more than that, a criminal, perhaps evil.

This is just an extension of all that. They know what worked to neuter his Presidency, and they are just taking it to the next level. They know that as an actual politician, he's not very good at subtlety. He's always hammer when sometimes you need precision.

Its evil, and wrong, but completely unsurprising, and they have been setting it up from the moment he came down the escalator. Not because they fear him.

Because they knew they could. And they did.

I only think one of the criminal investigations is really legitimate at this time (and it's a portion of one, not the whole indictment), but you knew there was going to be a response. You can't honestly expect there would be no response to a riot outside of Congress and people breaking into the building to disrupt the ceremonial transfer of power. It was never going to happen.

Then you have all the fake elector schemes coordinated in multiple states after losing lawsuits. Again, that's a new ballgame and seems unthinkable. Did we expect those wouldn't result in scrutiny at least? (Remember, not all fake elector schemes were prosecuted because some were done legitimately while others were not).

if you want to feel desperate, go to the grocery store and look for the idiots back in masks. there are actually people out there who, even with the benefit of hindsight, would do it all over again if the man in the TV says they should.

Just a couple years ago, some poster stated on the board, we don't need the Bible to tell us right from wrong, man knows the difference.

We are there. Is there any indication that his statement is true.

Therefore, we don't need a Constitution, we know what is legal.

We don't need speed limits on highways.
