This seems to be the strategy for the leftist politicos. Claim the lead is insurmountable to give credence to charges of an unfair election in the event of a loss.
The problem is that Trump got out front on this and has many Democrats on record claiming that such charges are bogus and, in and of themselves, undermine the public trust in our elections. And they can't have it both ways.
