To be fair, that was three years ago and very few of VR's political views have remained the same since then, not just that one.

Respectfully...you don't find it odd that a guy that was basically left leaning to apolitical only a few years ago suddenly talks like this?

Maybe I'm wrong, and if so we'll see over the next decade or so...but this just SCREAMS con man to me. The fact that I tend to agree with much of what he says doesn't for an instant make me think HE believes any of it.

He talks a good game and I like most everything he says and how aggressive he is with the media and the leftist scumbags however his past association with the WEF is a big red flag.

Also a guy who has made millions pumping and dumping stock whose last big sell off was...the day after he announced his candidacy.

I like how he blasts the media too.

And like you said, time will tell.

But I think I'll see if he can stick to one political philosophy for at least one election cycle before voting for him for POTUS.

He’s slick. Maybe a little too slick.

No. It’s clear I don’t care about what others want me to care about. If his takes on Trump are so pressing to you, cool. Don’t try and force your hypocritical hysteria on me - it’s exactly what the media does, you’re unknowingly one of them. I like Vivek’s stances and ideology on majority of topics, they align with mine. I couldn’t give two shits about his opinion on a polarizing figure such as Trump unless it was something truly detestable and unreasonable.

What I do know is Vivek is the best candidate out right now, this includes Trump.

I've heard Vivek speak on J6 a few times the past year and he's changed his mind on the J6 Faux Insurrection, he doesn't really blame Trump now because he understands it was preventable with the additional security Trump offered and was likely a setup.

I'm willing to give him a break he was in his twenties.

Besides we don't have time or the luxury to thoroughly vet this guy at the limits that we would like to.

If we don't roll the dice on someone like this now, it's over.

Imagine the outcry from the left had nothing been shut down and all remained open, they'd just be labeling trump a murderer. It was a no win.

You couldn’t even spell WEF 10 years ago. I say again, shambles.

Then you're choosing to be foolish. Past actions and words matter. It's how I knew Trump was going to govern as a populist rather than a conservative (which is exactly what happened, thus his decisions regarding COVID that you mentioned).

Because his past history is that he was a Republican, then an Independent, then a Republican again, then an Independent again, then a Democrat, then an Independent again, then a Republican again.

That screamed that he has no guiding philosophy and just moves whichever way the wind blows. Ramaswamy is the same way.

Sure, he says things you like today. Let's see if he is till saying them in five years. Then we'll talk.

quote:

GOP is truly in shambles.

It is, and it is because the base has fallen for populism. You're helping lead that charge. Those of you that ignore actions and policies and fawn over people because of what they say and how many sick burns they can dish out.

Even the Democrats won't mind Nikki Haley because she will continue the forever wars that they are all making money off of.

And this is what I'm talking about.

30 years ago that is exactly what the Democrats would have said about Republicans.

It's amazing that those of you who scream all of this Uniparty nonsense don't see that populism = Uniparty.

The more you go in for populism, the more Democratic policies you're going to end up agreeing with.

He came on a few decades earlier than Trump. And Trump turned out pretty good.

Name one fluff/emotionally charged slogan Vivek has adopted?

Oh wait, make America great again
