Higher prices at the pump sucks but all the outrage was bogus as it literally changed no lives. People still filled their expensive vehicles maxed out at 84 month loans and still drove the same distance. They will still stay their asses home complaining on the internet though in protest of orange man bad.

The sheer and utter stupidity of thinking oil prices only affect you when you are pumping gas. How some of you function in the real world is puzzling.

Trump’s going to make everything right. He’s already lowered safety standards and required mpg standards for the U.S. auto industry. Regulations to protect the public interest is bad and supporting the industrialist is good. Oil prices are good and low mileage cars and trucks are great. This is the typical Trump rationale. Hurt sucker hurt and shut up

FLTech with a thread for the win... where we all win. But you won't imagine how some on this board will react. Someone, somewhere is pissed, and will melt with some sort of "oil was $22 / barrel before Drump did this...and I voted for him 3 times".

I've not heard you complaining about those higher egg prices, though. And those squeezed hardest for diesel have been owners of suburban monsters and owner operators, who often are hit the hardest without a way to pass that increased cost along.
I mentioned over the weekend paying $4.15/gal to fill-up. I figure it cost me about $.50 / day more. And I (personally) am willing to pay much more if it helped Bessent's anaconda tighten further.

Well blow me down. Most of them have not ever seen it at $100 per barrel because, for the longest time, oil and gold traded at about a 1 to 12 ratio and gold did not get above $1,000 per ounce until ................. wait..........
wait..........
wait ........
March 13, 2008.
Even oil did not break $100 per barrel for the first time until January 2, 2008. Yet POTUS Trump, out of every POTUS since 2008, has had, by far, the fewest days of oil prices above $100.
