Certainly with the NFL but the NBA has been woke for years along the coaches and fan base.
Their international popularity also helps with growing the sport.The NFL doesn't have that luxury. If they keep alienating a large percentage of their American fan base the sport is in serious trouble.

Yep. I've pivoted on this issue. I told myself I'd watch but not monetarily support but they keep on getting more and more ridiculous.
I've been in a dynasty fantasy league for the longest, and it looks like I'll be visiting Pro Football Reference for the weekly stats and match-ups and not watching anymore. Won't even give ESPN the click.

Sadly yes. This one hurt. I think the left really resented Trump attending games and getting raucous cheers. It was either going to be covid or this but they were going to deny red state America their football in the form they know and love.

No it's not just police brutality. Go to the BLM website and look at their list of demands. They want free healthcare, reparations, changes in the tax code to benefit themselves, free college.
This is about politics. This is about free handouts and free money.
I am sorry you are too blinded to see it.
If it was about "police brutality", BLM would be OK with just increased officer training and legislation that would get "aggressive" cops off the street. But that is not all they want is it. They are making their play for $$$.

Is it about black lives matter? The same black lives matter that if you click for a donation you realize all of your donations are going directly to the DNC.
Do black lives really matter more than other races and why is it that black lives matter only when politically convenient 2016 circa 2020 and they don't matter when it's not near election time.

They don't care about your boos or disapproval. Your money is the only thing they care about. Whatever your opinion is means nothing to them, they hate you, but they want your money.
For you to boo them and scream out your unhappiness, while shelling out your hard earned money, makes them double happy.

IMO, they only have an audience if the audience allows themselves to be such. So this means there's always the option of completely dismissing their efforts to annoy and upend our way of life when and where they attempt it, and instead buck their efforts and say something like "Yeah yeah yeah....you just take that leather ball and carry it to that endzone over there, that alls I need from you. Throw and catch your way down there if need be. Thanks."

Anything having to do with big time colleges and sports won’t get my money. I refuse to give these liberal institutions any of my money.
