I hope the nfl goes the route of nascar. Dry up their professional league and everything else will crumble below. Maybe in a generation or or two, we’ll try it again.

I never gave a nickel to UTSA or UT Austin after I graduated. I felt raped in the wallet after paying them a shite ton to have the privilege of an attempted takeover of my mental faculties. Luckily, I was sheltered in the pharmacy school with a class of 60 people and rarely ventured out of the single building. They have hundreds of millions in their coffers. I always thought about how literally ignorant it is to give them money as an esteemed alumni. I return all their mail/emails with a resounding FU. Sports should have remained apolitical. Most of us watch it as a break from our everyday lives and b/c usually there is some geographic loyalty.
Most of us that had to penny pinch our way through college and grind it out in our professions are not really in the mood to be lectured by someone getting a free ride and potentially making millions/year at the next level.
I think I'm likely in the minority but I will be watching a lot less football next year. Damn sure not buying the NFLsundayticket again.

You're cherry picking who to be outraged at. Have you ever been to a game? Plenty of bullshite going on in the stadium while your arse kissing of the military, by the NFL, is happening. Go to concessions and be mad at all the people eating, drinking, talking etc. during this important time at a fricking football game. FOH
