They did the same thing with Obamacare. They knew it was going to cost them but they also knew once passed it would be a lot more difficult to get rid of, and they were right.

I almost admire them for their willingness to sacrifice to get the crap they want, but at the same time they have a built-in advantage over an ideology that wants less government. A non-program or a non-law doesn't have inertia, and government does.

Many of these decisions are very unpopular in their own districts yet they are voting for them with no fear of losing an election, why could that be?

What I noticed early on was that the entire corporate world acted as if the republicans would never hold power again. Very big red flag.

Dems probably end up with a super majority after another covid scam shuts down in person voting and 150% of the population votes next fall.

Yep.They seem to be very confident for a group that's getting crushed in the polls.

I have noticed we're hearing almost nothing from AOC and the squad.

Nor much about the big wigs and Harris looks stressed beyond comprehension. Not to mention more than 20 Democrat legislatures aren't seeking reelection.

You think its just not panning out and theyre seeing themselves out?

Can you blame them? In a time of lockdowns and riots in blue areas, the blues somehow still won. People saw the riots and said “yes, that’s what I want!”

It's not who votes, it's who COUNTS the votes.

Dominion and their rotten vote machine districts, lol but I think you knew that already.

I disagree. I think their voter base just doesn't care about the results, they just care about the emotional draw of the party agenda. They'll vote against themselves and their own kids if it makes them feel emotionally/morally accomplished.

What a back arse govt we have created.

THEY created!

They always blame the system when they "fail" to do what we want. It's their system, they set it up.

Kinda like they are printing money with no fear of collapsing the USD.

Once everybody is dependent on Government (we already are, with massive immigration of unemployables), then those who serve the Government subsidy process are assured of 'reelection'. Take away the printed money and it all goes to hell. The Left knows this. They either 'win', or the whole thing burns.

To me it seems as though a "Patriot" Republican will win a traditional Dem seat, but we find out it was a RINO at best all along. (I'm looking at you Dan Crenshaw)

Dems are full-on Thelma and Louise at this point and yeah, it's scary.
I think that Dems are willing to sacrifice 2022, and even 2024, in order to pass legislation that will change America and cement their power forever.
They will just pick up where they left off.

I was saying this all through 2019 and 2020 as Democrats were saying and doing everything that would normally be a campaign death sentence. Sadly my gut instincts were correct and they knew it did not matter what the said because they had the elections rigged.

But it's only a 2 year window if they lose the house and Senate.

I think that's the OP's point; they're not afraid of losing the House and Senate because they know the fix is in for them in '22. They can vote for one insane and unpopular measure after another because they know they're safe in their seat.

There's talk to take a vote to overrule her. That's where we will see if Manchin can be relied on.

Very true ...however, Manchin is running again. Apparently he enjoys the perks that come with the Senate. The only way he stays is to remain central and not waver .....otherwise he becomes yesterdays milk toast.

I sure hope you're wrong on this. Virginia's last election gave me SOME hope that we can stop the insanity.
