All the ronbots fiercely defending Vance makes him even more suspect.
He has 2 years in the Senate, anti-populist most of his life and didn't vote against secret FISA courts, not a smart choice by Trump.

He wasn’t really that poor

He grew up in a fancy suburb of Cincinnati and only visited his grandparents in Appalachia during the summer

He got coached on writing his book by some lady that had a bestseller already and probably hit the right time when people were reading memoirs

I saw that article by Sundance this morning. I posted this in his comment section:

The focus from the Executive branch needs to be an effort to eliminate that slop one issue at a time under our existing constitutional framework.

The amazing thing about President Trump he has eliminated a lot of slop by judicial appointments his first term and judicial rulings outside of his first term. The slop illimitation continues via Trump influence. President Trump has tightened up those constitutional guardrails.

Given the fact that billionaire influence is never going away it is more important than ever that constitutional guardrails are further tightened up from the legislative and judicial branches via executive branch leadership. President Trump can do a lot in that regard the next 4 years. In terms of specifics, I would like to see National Security Division of the DOJ knocked down a notch in President Trump’s 2nd term. The DOJ can set up a lot of secretive silos under the moniker of National Security. It’s like the NSD of the DOJ has become it’s own entity outside of the executive branch. The NSD of the DOJ needs to be reigned in.
